IT'S JUST SUCH GOOD MUSIC The Pirate Signal is a three man hip-hop group out of Denver, Colorado that makes some of the most powerful, immediate creative music in the world today.  Consisting of MC-Producer - Chief Songwriter Yonnas Abraham, Turntablist, Crate-Digger and Co-Songwriter DJ A-What and Audio Engineer Joey Kuvo.  The Pirate Signal is a musically self-sufficient entity that functions much more as a production center than a rap troupe. The dynamic range of The Pirate Signal is probably their most strong feature veering from chest thumping knock that seems to suck up the whole room to soothing aural sound-scape in the blink of an eye.  A-What and Yonnas use the medium of Hip-Hop, the medium of music itself, like no one in the world.  What hits you second is it's accesiblity. The beats bang, the rapping is stunning and the cuts are absolutely jaw-dropping.  The synthesis of music they display sounds like the best band in the world ten times over. The songs are all so well-written, so musical, and so strong that they simply go above and beyond any esoteric genre limitations.
