The Fabulous Miss Wendy has just completed her debut, self-titled, full length CD featuring 10 outrageously provocative 21st century rocking and rolling songs. Some of the titles cannot appear in print! Produced by Devo's Gerald Casale, engineered by Goo Goo Dolls' wizard, Paul David Hagar, also of Avril Levine and All American Rejects fame, and driven by the fierce pounding of super-drummer, Josh Freese, "The Fabulous Miss Wendy" is the olive in the martini of the Fab Miss Wendy's ambitious ascent to center stage. Wendy Jacobson decided she was fabulous when she started singing, dancing and performing as a 5-year-old kid.Skeptical relatives and friends be damned, Wendy soldiered on picking up the guitar and becoming a virtuoso by the age of 12. Never taking "no" for an answer she commandeered fledgling talent, forming and playing in several bands during her scandalous high school years. Her classmates voted her "most likely to be a rock star" or "most likely to be a porn star". Wendy had the talent and the fresh, sexy appeal to make good on either prediction. Being a "bad girl gone wrong" the fearless young Wendy opted for the Musicians Institute in Hollywood where she really spread her wings so to speak - or at least sharpened her cute little horns. Her intense energy and singing and songwriting skills sent her to the head of the class and lead to a stint playing for the American troops stationed in Bagdad, Iraq. Upon return from her musical tour of duty Wendy finished third in the United States' "World Battle of the Bands Competition" and won a VH1 Recommended Artist Award. She was now officially known round the globe as "The Fabulous Miss Wendy". Very recently, Wendy reached legal drinking age, a meaningless anachronism for a girl that re-defines Hutzpah on stage and off! FMW presently garners huge buzz in California from San Francisco, to LA to the daunting OC and down to San Diego. She's played The Whisky, The Viper Room, The Key Club, The Kat Club and many, many others leaving her indelible mark from her shock and awe performances. FMW's massive fan bass includes celebs such as Jim Carrey, Ron Jeremy, Tesla, Handsome Devil and Veruca Salt. The Fabulous Miss Wendy is infecting the airwaves at satellite radio without label support and subverted her way on to TV broadcasts stateside and abroad. She has worked with the former CEO of Geffen Records, Tom Zutaut and captured the attention of the cognoscenti at KROQ, Capitol Records, Warner Records, and Interscope Records. So far she's wisely kept them at bay while she plots the smartest possible business model for the future of The Fabulous Miss Wendy.
